The Japanese Government is currently undertaking a nationwide farmland reorganization and development project aimed at expanding crop fields and improving agricultural efficiency.
Reconstruction Schedule
The rice fields adjacent to Blooming Villa Higashikawa have been selected for this reconstruction work. The work is scheduled to take place between May and September 2026.
Potential Impact on Your Stay
Guests planning a stay at Blooming Villa during this period need to be aware of the following potential inconveniences:
- View: Fencing around the rice field will be in place at all times and may block some of the view from the first floor and terrace.
- Noise, Dust, and Vibration: These disturbances are possible when heavy machinery is operating close to the property.
Construction Hours
To minimize disruption, all activities that may generate noise, dust, or vibration are limited to the following times:
- 9:00 AM to approximately 5:00 PM Monday through Saturday.
- Work will not be done on Sundays.
During warmer months, the use of in-house air conditioning will likely keep doors and windows closed, which should help to lessen any impact inside the Villa.

Because this essential work may impact the tranquil atmosphere that Blooming Villa normally provides, we feel obliged to offer a reduced rate of 15% off our usual rates for the entire reconstruction period.
Guests who choose to take advantage of this special reduced rate will be asked to confirm their understanding of the potential inconveniences outlined above.
