The cozy living area is equipped with luxurious leather sofas from where you can enjoy the view through the terrace windows, or step out on to the terrace for a panoramic view of the expansive countryside and picturesque mountains of central Hokkaido.

Bookings of 6 nights or more during any season qualify for a 10% discounted rate

窓越しに見える霜華と大自然のコラボ
こちらの別荘には冬に滞在させていただきましたが、広い間取りにも関わらず北海道の厳しい寒さとは無縁の暖かさに驚きでした。聞けば全部屋に床暖房を完備しているとの事。エアコン不要の優しい暖かさに癒されました。玄関土間のタイルにまで暖房が入っているのは本当に有難かった。近隣のスキー場に毎日通いましたが、雪で濡れたスキーブーツが翌朝にはしっかり乾きインナーの中まで温まるので翌日のスキー中は足指が凍えることもなかったです。スキー板もバッチリ乾くのでエッジの手入れが楽。
一番の感動エピソードは、早朝起きると窓に「霜華」が張り付いていたこと。霜華を見たのは初めてで日が上るにつれて移りゆく華の模様。さらにその幻想的な美しさの奥には瑠璃色の空から昇るオレンジ色の太陽と雄大な大雪山が。真っさらな雪の平原にちょこんと見えるキツネのリズミカルな足跡も🐾これらの芸術を日の出の時間に鑑賞し、まったりと堪能させてもらいました。窓からの芸術鑑賞がこのステイでの一番の醍醐味かと思います。
外へ出るとキリッと肌を刺すシャープな寒さは東川ならでは。ニセコとはまた違った穏やかで芸術的な時間を味わいに、また近いうちにお邪魔したいと思います。
